1833 Log school built on James Crawford's land.
1834 Henry Johnson's Addition to Town of Reynoldsburg.
1835 summer/fall American Anti-Slavery Society's aggressive propaganda campaign.
1835 Emmanuel Rhoads built a tavern on Main Street
1835 Methodist Church formed as a Bible class. Mr. Lee, leader.
1836 Methodists erected a frame church building on grounds of present Middle School.
1836 August 6 Reynoldsburg Presbyterian Church organized.
1836 December 20 James C. Reynolds and Minerva H. Herrick married.
1837-1838 Nationwide depression, great speculation in land.
1838 May 26 No. 5 School (Fancher School) constructed.
1839 March 16 Village incorporated as Reynoldsburg.
1840 fall First borough election in Reynoldsburg.

1840 Presbyterians built their first church building.
1840 February 22 Whig Convention began in Columbus.

1840 James C. Reynolds built a steam mill on Blacklick Creek.
1843 or 1846 Baptists built their first church.
1845 Log schoolhouse east of Baptist Church replaced by frame structure.
1848 July 22 Universalist Church formed.
1849 Hibernia Post Office established. William F. Armstrong, Postmaster.
1850 Society of Powell's Chapel founded at Brice.
1854 Mon. Jan. 30 James C. Reynolds died at Carroll.
1857 Hibernia Post Office discontinued.
1858 Two story brick school built on northwest corner of Jackson and Broadwyn.

1867 Lucinda McEwen bought the Lower Tavern.

1868 Professor Darlington J. Snyder came to Reynoldsburg.
1868 First public high school in Franklin County established at Reynoldsburg Union Academy.
1868 Literary Society organized.
1869 June 1 Truro Lodge #411, International Order of Odd Fellows, instituted.
1870 Alexander W. Livingston introduced the Paragon tomato, the world's first stable variety.
1870 Campbellite (Church of Christ) built.

1871 Methodist Church built on Main Street.
1872 April 1 Firm of E.S. Osborn established; now Connell Hardware.
1874 November The Reynoldsburg Debate at the Campbellite Church.
1874 Sunday School organized at Presbyterian Church.
1883 Nathaniel N. Mason built the Mason Block, brick building at South Lancaster and Main Street.
1883 March 3 Joseph B. Powell's plat for Brice was registered at Franklin County Court House.
1884 Sidewalks constructed along Broad Street (Broadwyn), Jackson Avenue and Graham Road.
1887 Daniel Noe Post of Grand Army of The Republic organized; Nathaniel N. Mason, first Commander.
