CONTACT PAGE A Word from the President: It is an honor to have been elected your new President, replacing Marilyn Griffin who served an unprecedented twelve terms. I look forward to working with all of you in the coming months. And welcome to our beautiful website, which is at the hub of all our publicity efforts. As we celebrate our 35th anniversary in April, we can look back with pride on all our accomplishments in preserving the history of our town, especially the conversion of our Jackson-street 1850's home into our permanent museum and the building and outfitting of our new storage/display barn, a first-class facility. We've opened our buildings to the public on the last Saturday of the month, and other times by appointment. We've expanded our quarterly newsletter into a six-page, professional publication, full of news and features. But all of this requires more than the work of just a few, so we encourage your getting involved. A good place to start would be to attend Executive Board meetings, where we chart the direction of the Society. Anyone may attend and we welcome your input. We've changed the Board meeting time to 7:00 p.m. year-round to enable more members to attend. See the calendar on this website for dates. Hoping to see you soon! -Mark Myers, President OFFICERS 2010
