Mid-Ohio Scottish Heritage Association
The Association's purpose is the cultivation and stimulation of interest in Scottish heritage of the residents of central Ohio, particularly their genealogical, cultural, and historical backgrounds.
VISITORS ARE WELCOME
Meetings are held at 7:30 PM on the second Saturday of each month.(September through June) at the Griswold Center 777 N. High Street Worthington, Ohio. The September and June meetings include a potluck dinner beginning at 6:30 PM with a business meeting following. Generally, the meetings include a program, Scottish music and /or dance, refreshments and an opportunity to socialize.

THE DAUGHTERS OF SCOTLAND
The Daughters of Scotland was founded in Cleveland, Ohio on October 3, 1899 by Scots' women to keep them in ever loving remembrance of their native land and to assist in bringing together mothers, daughters and sisters arising from Scottish birth. In recent years, women married to men of Scottish decent, or any women with a sincere interest m Scotland, are also welcome to the organization
The meetings are held the first Tuesday of the month from March to December at St. James Episcopal Church, 3400 Calument Street Columbus, Ohio. The membership is interested in preserving Scottish heritage, promoting Scottish culture and supporting charities.
The Daughters of Scotland sponsor The Burns Banquet in January bringing together Scots from miles around to celebrate the birth of Scotland's famous poet. The Daughters also participant in theInternational Festival in November in Columbus, Ohio.
The Daughters work with the Columbus State Hospital twice a year in a charitable endeavor.

THE SCOTTISH AMERICAN MILITARY SOCIETY
The Scottish-American Military Society was founded and chartered in North Carolina, April 12, 1981: as a non-profit organization with the following purpose: To preserve and promote Scottish and American Armed Forces customs, traditions and heritage.
Membership is open to honorably discharged veterans or active duty or reserve military persons who have served or are serving with any branch of the United States or Commonwealth Armed Forces.
