April Showers
Tradition has it, that the youngest child present, draws the Door Prize ticket at our monthly Open Houses. Six month old, Gracie Barthen, performed the honors for our April Showers event. Looking on, left, is Grandma Connie Barthen and RTHS member Joyce Vaughn.
Visitors to the Heritage Center came loaded with food items to benefit Reynoldsburg charity Helping Hands. Helen Kitzmiller, center, Organizer of the food drive, thank a young couple for their generous donation. Two van loads of items, were collected for distribution, to needy families in the Reynoldsburg area.

April Meeting
Mayor Brad McCloud accepts a token of appreciation, from Helen Kitzmiller, for speaking at the RTHS April Meeting. The Mayor spoke about his talented and exceptional staff and what he hope to accomplish in office.
He listened most attentively, to questions from the audience and wrote down many items to follow though. The Mayor stressed having "Pride" in our community and it was discussed how the Historical Society can play a major part, in promoting this effort.

Book Sale
Proving immensely popular, during the March Open House, was the Children's Corner at our annual Book Sale.
Ann Powell and her granddaughter, Kristin, browsed through the many bargain books. They even tasted the delicious Gummy Worms, available to the many book worms, attending the event.
The Bake Sale, also held that day, was a real winner and the largest crowd ever, for an Open House, left with arms full of books and goodies.

Guys and Dolls
One year after Arthur Phalor's Barn made it to the Heritage Center his matching Doll House finally arrived. Mark Myers cleans off one of the many parts to the Doll House prior to assembly. It is hoped that this Restoration will become a community wide project.

Reynoldsburg, Ohio
Finally, in the first week of April, a vision that looks remotely like spring.
Global Warning has not be kind to us this cold, rainy season. Now our fingers are crossed that no more hard freezes are on the way.
